Created as part of the Able-Graphy* Vol 2. Exhibition for the fashion house Nosakahari; Finally, Home is a celebration of the junction between, art, fashion, and quotidian practicality. Handbags are such evocative objects, they contain a person’s entire world. They are both performative items, worn for fashion, and to be seen, but also deeply personal, hiding their contents from the rest of the world. This piece plays with that juxtaposition, creating a miniature copy of the bag spilling open on a floor, revealing the contents within and inviting the viewer to consider who may own the bag and to imagine what their life is like.
